Dear CSUG member,
We are planning a CSUG meeting for Tuesday, November 3, 2009 from 5pm to 8pm at the DES PLAINES Campus of Oakton Community College, in ROOM 1608. The address is 1600 E. Golf Rd., Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. (See map at end of notice or Google the address for a map.)
We will start with a short business meeting followed by the presentation.
AGENDA:
5:00-5:30PM - Sign in and networking.
5:30PM - Pizza is served.
5:30-5:45PM - CSUG business.
5:45-6:00PM - Current Job Market Outlook presented by Sterling-Engineering.
6:00-7:30PM - Presentation.
7:30-8:00PM - Q&A session, door prize drawing.
8:00PM - Adjourn.
Presentation:
Redneck Workarounds - The SolidWorks Equivalent to Duct Tape and Baling Wire.
Presented by Adrian Fanjoy and Josh Altergott from Computer Aided Technology.
Examine how day-to-day modeling and administrative challenges can be overcome in inventive and sometimes bizarre ways.
We will have the usual pizza and soft drinks for refreshments, along with a door prize drawing (if we have prizes to give away).
The meeting should adjourn around 8pm.
No RSVP necessary.
We will base the headcount on the average from previous meetings.
Looking forward to seeing the familiar faces along with any new members.
