Modelling Curvy Stuff – Controlling the “Flow” of Isoparms and Why that Matters a Lot
Ed Eaton | Sr. Industrial Designer | DiMonte Group Inc.

Ed has presented at SOLIDWORKS World several times.
This is Ed’s SWW2019 presentation.

Ever get wrinkles or bulges/dips in your surfaces, or strange edge anomalies when trying to make a Loft/Boundary? You need the tips and tricks in this session for controlling the “flow” of isoparms, the matrix created between the edges and curves of a Loft/Boundary that define the faces of your product.

Attendees will learn: What isoparms are; How to see them (unlike curves and edges, they are by default hidden from the user); Why they matter; What you really want them to look like to make great surfaces and learn how to control them.

We will have the usual pizza and soft drinks for refreshments, along with a door prize drawing (if we have prizes to give away).

The meeting should adjourn around 8:30pm.

No RSVP necessary.
We will base the headcount on the average from previous meetings.
